Mongchuan fountain was designed in 1963 by our first principal, Sister Emanuel.

it was built with 7 plates ,because 7 is a holy number in the Bible. The fountain shows that knowledge and concepts are passed down from generation to generation.

It used to be a real fountain, but since the 921 earthquake, the water pipes underground burst and it was converted into a small flower garden. It has become a symbol of our school’s spirit.
